Integrated fire Detection & Suppression System for Armoured Fighting Vehicles

• The system uses dual spectrum IR Detector and Linear Thermal Detector for detecting fires in crew & Engine compartment resp.

• The system operates automatically in case of fire.

• The system is capable of detecting and suppressing hydrocarbon fuel fires / explosions with in 200ms in crew compartment and with in 10 seconds in engine compartment.

• The system is immune to false detection, alarms & actuation.

• The system effectively withstand vibrations , shocks , bumps , toppling , temperature extremes , rapid temperature cycling , dust , tropical exposures etc. as per JSS - 55555

• Audio / visual warning provided in case of FIRE

• Manual Overrides provided for manual operation when required

• Build in test equipment provided for checking the serviceability
